Position Reports to: Sr. Director, Sales Operations and Customer Service
Function/Department: Sales Operations and Customer Service
Location of position: San Jose, California
The main focus of this role is to provide decision support reporting, Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) compensation modeling, field interfacing and performance insight across OCLARO’s growing sales & services functions. This will include analysis and trending of data along with development of standardized reporting and KPI’s. Must be a forward and critical thinker who can contribute to the development of innovative global solutions to improve and optimally automate the current performance measurements and reporting. Identification of issues and opportunities for efficiency gains along with recommendations for business optimization are required. Preparation of executive management summaries is a key deliverable of this highly visible position.
The ideal candidate will have: Proven success in business analysis and decision support reporting and optimization. Experienced in reviewing metric results and providing insights. Capability to complete data review for inconsistencies and process flaws along with recommendations for solutions to identified problems. Versed in process flow documentation. General understanding of cost/benefit reviews. Excellent communication skills; verbal and written. Ability to successfully interface and influence with many different functional groups.
