ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review and complete product documentation for production readiness.
- Technically support to contract manufacturers to ensure on time delivery
- Provide training to CMs technical staff; Provide DFM/ DFA (Design for Manufacturing, Design for Assembly) feedback to the product design team during the design phase of new products.
- Lead failure analysis on returned products from our customers
- Drive continuous improvement programs with CM on product quality and cost reduction.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree or above in optics, opto-electronics, physics or equivalent technical discipline Master and PhD is preferable
- Profound knowledge on free space optics, fibre optics, physical optics and laser principle.
- Deeply understanding of functionality, integration and application of optical modules
- Good English communication skill
- 2 years or above NPI, development or equivalent engineering experience of optical components, module, subsystem or system.
- Experience with embedded system and control system is a plus.
- Experience with computer language like C# and VB is a plus.
