KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform as member of cross-functional team of engineers on different project assignments focused on the design, modeling, test, and transfer to manufacturing of micro-optical devices and subsystems
- Review product designs for manufacturability & reliability
- Identifying and developing key process for yield/capacity improvements and cost reduction
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master degree or higher in Physics or optical engineering;
- 5+ years experience in optical design of micro-optical assemblies/system with including lens & gratings etc;
- Experienced with optical simulation/modeling tools, like Zemax;
- Experienced with optical fibers and optical fiber pigtailed devices;
- Hand-on experience with assembly, alignment and testing of micro-optical systems;
- Competent team player, capable of working with cross-functional teams including mechanics, electronics, firmware/software etc.
- Capable of working with Chinese or international suppliers;
