PureGain PG1600P
Transient-Optimized EDFA with Oasis Controls
Description
The PureGain PG1600P Optical Amplifier Series combines state-of-the-art electronics, superior optical performance, a feature-rich control language and a compact form factor to deliver the lowest-cost amplifier solution for ensuring resilient 40G networks.
As a low-noise, single-channel pre-amplifier, proprietary digital control electronics can suppress power transients to protect detectors and stabilize received power in high-speed networks. The patented digital control system also minimizes thermal dissipation requirements, enabling higher port density and lower operating cost. The PureGain PG1600P series is initially available in a C-Band model with output power up to 17 dBm.TEST
